Quilakwa Investments is SDC’s consumer services division, operating businesses in retail, tourism, and hospitality throughout Splatsin’s traditional territory.

Quilakwa-at-the-Lake Campground is located above the mouth of the Shuswap River where it meets the picturesque Mabel Lake, just 35 km outside of Enderby, BC. This rustic campground is conveniently located within walking distance of the local marinas, golf course, and beaches.

Quilakwa RV & Campground is situated along the banks of the beautiful Shuswap River in the heart of Enderby, B.C. The RV Park is calm and serene with groomed lawns and grassed sites. The Enderby Cliffs provide a majestic backdrop with numerous golf courses and hiking trails close by.

Q’s Float Shop is located in downtown Enderby near the Shuswap River. This summer shop is open seasonally, offering rivercraft rentals such as kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards, as well as an array of snacks and supplies. Q’s is your home base for river tubing!

In Secwépemctsin — the Splatsin People’s language — “Quilakwa” is Pronounced “quill-ah-kwah” and translates to “lonely little mountain” or “riverside.” This word was chosen due to our business’ proximity to the Shuswap, Eagle, and Salmon Rivers which are key elements of Splatsin culture.

Located at 5655 Highway 97A, Quilakwa Canco is a full-service Canco gas station featuring Tim Hortons, a convenience store with a Chester’s Chicken, a car wash, and an Indigenous artisan gallery. The handcrafted log building design was the recipient of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Award in 2016. In 2023, Quilakwa Canco renovated the gas canopy, which now features log elements that complement the award-winning Quilakwa Centre.
