Senior Archaeologist

Reporting into the Project Manager, the Senior Archaeologist will lead and oversee fieldwork and office-based activities related to archaeological projects within the Splatsin territory and surrounding areas.

As the primary field supervisor, the Senior Archaeologist will coordinate field teams, manage resources, secure and manage permits, and ensure that all associated reports and documentation adhere to BC Archaeology Branch standards and regulatory requirements.

Logistics & Facilities Manager

Yucwmenlúcwu is looking for a full-time Logistics & Facilities Manager to provide administrative project support, coordinate logistics, and oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and operation of SDC properties.

This role involves both office and fieldwork, including transporting equipment to various site locations as needed. A Class 1 driver’s license is required. Responsibilities also include setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operation.

Wildlife Biologist

Reporting to the Environment Manager, the Wildlife Biologist will assist with the management and delivery of various field projects and conservation initiatives.

The focus of projects will be on the study and management of the impact of environmental changes on animal behavior and habitat. Coordination of resources and logistics, personnel, and project management will be key functions.

This position will be a combination of office and field-based activities and is a career track position, with the successful candidate forming an integral part the management team.

Development Forester

The Yucwmenlúcwu Forestry Department is seeking a full-time Development Forester to lead timber development while aligning with our quadruple bottom line.

This role is ideal for a professional forester who applies creative solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in forest ecology, silviculture, timber production, and sustainable management.

On-Site Traffic Controller

The Yucwmenlúcwu Civil Construction Department is looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as an On-Site Traffic Controller.

Responsibilities include directing and controlling traffic flow at construction sites using hand signals, flags, and signs. The role also involves ensuring the safe movement of construction workers, emergency response teams, and the public, while monitoring and managing traffic conditions to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

General Labourer

Reporting to the General Contractor Site Supervisor and Yucwmenlúcwu’s Senior Project Manager, the General Labourer will play a vital role in supporting the construction team on the Bruhn Bridge project, based in Sicamous, BC.

This position requires a strong work ethic, a willingness to work in various weather conditions, and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

Shift work is required: you will work three to four 10-hour work days per week on a rotating shift schedule. Some overtime may be required.

Occupational First Aid Attendant (Level 3)

The Occupational First Aid Attendant Level 3 is responsible for providing immediate medical care and first aid to crews in the event of injuries, accidents or illness in the workplace. This role ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and the company’s safety program while promoting a safe working environment.

Candidates must be willing to work either the days or nights, as both shifts need to be filled.

Don’t have Level 3? That’s OK - for the right candidate, we will provide payment for course accreditation.
